Congressman Travis Childers Calls for Third-Party Ad to Be Pulled 

Booneville , MS – Congressman Travis Childers issued the following statement in response to a third-party television advertisement running in North Mississippi :

“This advertisement portrays the same negative campaign tactics that polluted the race in the spring, and I ask that the DCCC stop airing this ad on North Mississippi television. Legally, I have no control or influence on what the advertisements paid for by DCCC or any other outside group are about. However, I will continue to hold my own campaign to a higher standard and I am calling for all third party expenditures to be removed from this race, including Democratic Party expenditures. For me, this campaign is about representing the values of North Mississippi and doing the best job I can for our district in Congress.”
